I love recognizing the beauty in things that most people don't: that cute girl who dresses different, a dying tree, a wall tagged in graffiti..... the first day of the week. Everyone automatically dislikes things that are COOL to dislike. It's the "american" way. So, for one reason or the other, Monday has caught a bad reputation.... which is completely unfair. Monday is a symbol of a new beginning.... a fresh start. Maybe that's why we dislike it automatically... it forces us to make a change and, we as humans, tend to shy away from change. We settle into boring life routines merely to avoid the stress and effort of making REAL life changing moves. That is extremely disheartening. Embrace this MELLOW MONDAY. Embrace change. Embrace positivity and the ability to better YOUR situation. Embrace xTHEDIRTYHYPEx and enjoy this amazing mix of dreamy tunes.
