xTDHx: CHRIS WARD SURFING

Today was a record breaking hot day, which means it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL out. Definitely the first signs of summer with the beaches filled and the waves pumping. The first thing I thought to do was call our good friend Chris "Wardo" Ward and see if he wanted to film. We headed down to State Park in San Clemente and like usual Chris got the wave of the day, played on the shore with his beautiful newborn daughter.... and then rushed off to Australia. If that isn't an amazing life I don't know what it is. Above is some footage that him and I compiled in San Clemente and Mainland Mexico and gets the point across that he is one of the best surfers that has ever lived and we are glad to have him on The Dirty Hype Team. Sit back and relax, the next minute of viewing enjoyment is going to take your breathe away. Enjoi.

To follow up that bit of amazing news I have some absolutely delectable tunes for you to nibble on. Since this mix is tailor made to fit your Sunday I threw in a few of those "feel good" tracks since that's what we ALL need on our sunday: Some mellow tunes and some extra smiles. If this song doesn't make you smile then you're definitely downloading music from the wrong place. It's a PASSION PIT remix of a Two Door Cinema Club song.... a combination that is wayyyy too good to be true. Moving onto another dreamy tune is the 8BARZ remix of The Script's track entitled "For The First Time". Bringing it up a notch or two is MADEON with a new remix of a track from Yelle. Moving on is something a little heavier from our friend PORTER ROBINSON who does his fair share of dabbling with filth these days. Our Friend and Dirty Hype DJ, "Circuit Banger" Brian Eusey, just opened up for him and Deadmau5 last weekend. We would like congratulate him on that accomplishment. Moving on I'm ending off this amazing mix with yet another amazingly heavy track from  FEED ME. BE READY TO PARTY ON 4/22. Enjoi.

Thirsty Thursday #4: Snow Summit

Its really crazy how hard it is to make film trips happen sometimes. When it's happening it seems like it's never going to come together: too much negativity, not enough cash, weather isn't ideal, etc. Then in the end it all comes together. The video gets filmed. The weather is perfect. Everyone goes home safe and with a full stomach. It is those kind of outcomes that motivate you to keep doing what you do. Because we all know it doesn't always turn out that pretty. This video is a testament to staying positive and pushing on through adversity. By the way, Snow Summit is fu*king amazing so I suggest you go check it out. As usual the song from the video can be downloaded below. Enjoi.

xTDHx: JUICY.

I have an oral fixation.... in more then one sense of the word. Seriously though, I love my Dubstep to be accompanied by some lyrical content. It helps to take away from the reality that I'm listening to robots fight with lasers inside of my speakers. It takes me back to a time when music was made with sounds created by humans..... very primitive, I know. This list of tracks is far from primitive but still is accompanied by the most primitive of instruments: The Mouth.

This JUICY MIX comes to you in the form of a 5 songs arsenal of lyrically fueled Dubstep. Starting it off is a filthy remix from ADVENTURE CLUB that is sure to find its way onto repeat in your iTunes. Following that up is someone I am VERY HAPPY to introduce to you: This is VEXARE and he is 14 years old and from L.A.. This is his banger of a track entitled "You Wouldn't Know Me". It's really hard to back up a track like that but PHETSTA is the perfect candidate with his remix of "Run You Down". With the next track I'm gonna bring it back to a classic hit from Nancy Sinatra, it's a remix of "Bang Bang" from WHITE NOISE. And ending it in a lyrically correct manner I'm giving you a remix of Mike Posner's- "Baby Please Don't Go". Until next time, keep it dirty my friends. Enjoi.

Happy Spring Break'ing from xTDHx

Well, it's that time of year again. The time of year when we like our IQ's low and and our morals even lower. It's Spring Break '08 bitches.... okayyyyyy well maybe I'm the only one still stuck in Spring Break '08 but that's a whole other story. The truth is, we can't be living in the past. We can't be satisfied with the partying that we've already done. We can't throw in the towel because we ALREADY went huge last year or the year before. We have to take this as a personal challenge to really step it up and make some seriously irresponsible decisions. It's SPRING BREAK for god sakes, let loose: drink until you throw up, have sex in public, beat up some dude after you hook up with his chick and then bring him a "Corona" filled with piss. It's THAT sort of commitment that is needed to really take your Spring Break experience to the next level. The above video shows xTHE DIRTY HYPEx's commitment and/or dedication to America's favorite pass time: Partying with naked chicks. In the famous words of T-Pain, "I'm on a boat, bitch." You're welcome. Enjoi.

Eric Geiselman and Shane Sheckler at San Clemente Skatepark

It's pretty radical when things come together organically, without any signs of force. This video is a perfect example of this. On a lazy day off of the mountain I cruised by my hometown skatepark, barefoot, to see what was going on. Upon my arrival I immediately saw some familiar faces and decided to pull out the camera to see what I could get. Nothing serious. Nothing planned. Nothing to stress over. The boys could just do their thing and if they happened to land something then so be it. It's these kind of stress free film sessions that turn out to make the best videos. Negativity breeds negativity but the same goes for Positivity. So take notes kids, stay positive and just keep smiling.... Positivity holds a lot more power then you would imagine. Enjoi.

xTDHx = AMAZING!!!

THINGS THAT ARE AMAZING: Skateboarding, Surfing, Snowboarding, Art, Women, and The Dirty Hype. If you agree with the above statement then you should feel right at home. The above booty is absolutely exquisite but I actually have more of an infatuation with the list of tracks that I've assembled for you. Weird? You won't think so once you hear this ear-gasmic onslaught. These songs are definitely gonna make all of you love us just a little bit more.

Since it's the weekend I'm gonna bless your lives with a 6-Pack of filth that is AMAZING from start to finish. You seriously won't be able to decide which song to keep on repeat because they are all SO good (I am encountering this problem as we speak).  Starting it off is an artist I stumbled across recently and I am sooooo happy I did, It's KILLAGRAHAM with 2 remixes that will blow you away. Following that up is a shout out to a legend who tragically passed away this week, it's a Dubstep remix of NATE DOGG's "Regulate". The man was a true legend and will live on forever. Moving on, we have a radical track from COMPUTER CLUB entitled "Losing Streak". Backing up that banger is a track with one of the coolest drops I've heard recently, it's a BARLETTA remix of Robyn's "None Of Dem"... when the beat hits at 1:06 try to NOT nod your head (it's not possible). And lastly, I usually end it on a mellow note but not today. It's fellow TAVIK Visionary LE CASTLE VANIA with his absolutely AMAZING remix of "Is You" from D.I.M.. All of these songs are going to make your life better.... You're welcome. Enjoi.

xTDHx: BANG

Sometimes when you are trying to make something GREAT happen there are obstacles in your way. At the time it seems so troublesome and negative... But then when you come to the end and all your hard work pays off, all those trials and tribulations just make you smile. Nothing that is worth doing is going to come easy. Every single one of us is going to have to overcome obstacles to make progress, not only in our skills and hobbies,  but in our everyday lives. So when life throws that speed bump in front of you today just put your foot on the gas and send it.

The only obstacle between you and these 4 amazing songs is downloading them.... which you all know is BASIC. I'm starting it off with a remix of my favorite song from Band of Horses: It's a Dubstep remix of "Funeral" by BUTCH CLANCY. Following that up is a remix of "Walking on a Dream" from KIDS AT THE BAR. Next up is a song I have on repeat right now, it's a remix from one of the biggest names in a Electronic Music with his spin on Klaxons- "Echoes". And to end it off is AVICII with "ID". When you reach the end of this mix... your head will go: BANG. Enjoi.

xTDHx: BLOW MINDS

Blowing someone's mind is a pretty tough task.... Unless you are equipped with a playlist from xTHE DIRTY HYPEx Here's a few more tracks to add to your arsenal of mind blowing material. If your mind has yet to be blown.... join the party. xTDHx

This mind blowing mix consists of 4 absolutely delectable Dubstep tracks. The first is a song I can't take off repeat, it's an AUDIODAX DUBSTEP remix of Mike Posner's "Cheated". Following that up is a collaboration that makes me very happy: DIPLO and LIL WAYNE with "MOTIVATION". Backing that up is RUSKO's revision of Amanda Blank's "Might Like You Better".... The lyrics to this song are amazing.... the chorus is xTDHx's message to all the beautiful women across the globe. And just for "shits and gigs" I'm giving y'all the original version of "Might Like You Better". Enjoi.

xTDHx: NO CONTROL

There's no use in trying to control ANYTHING. It's so much better to just let go of the steering wheel and let life run it's course. Not LITERALLY. That would cause for some hectic traffic on the freeway. But the truth is, once you have lost everything you are free to do anything. No control means no limitations. No limitations mean endless possibilities. Now, I'm not saying lets all turn into anarchists and take over the streets. Moderation is the name of the game. I'm just stressing the fact that being controlled is bullsh*t. Fu*k being "complete"... fu*k being "perfect". We need to evolve and create our own definition of "complete".... paint our own picture of "perfection". Make your own path.... create your own masterpiece..... and never let restrictions stand in your way. NO CONTROL. xTDHx.

I feel like having a beer.... and because of that reason alone I am hooking you up with a 6 pack of filth. Starting it out is a producer who started in the Dubstep genre but has transitioned over to Electro with this filthy track, it's MORD FUSTANG with "The Electric Dream". Following up that gem is a banger from RICHIE BERETTA. Next up is a shout out to all our loyal fans overseas in France, the track is from BLUE SATELLITE and is entitled "Paris". Next up is a heavy track from FTAMPA and is called "Who I am".... It doesn't get heavy until 2 minutes in so feel free to fast forward the first time to be sure its as filthy as I say. Switching it up with the next track is a DISCO FRIES remix of a Mike Posner hit called "Ambiguous" and its AMAZING. And as usual for the finale, I took it down a notch or two with this dreamy GLITCH MOB track entitled "Between Two Points". Lose control and Enjoi.

xTDHx: The Music Was So Dirty.....

I have been impressed by the following of females we have acquired since the inception of xTDHx. The fact is: The music is so DIRTY they really can't help themselves. I can't blame them.... It's hard to resist. But as time goes on we only want this trend to escalate. So with that said, I'll continue to do my part and feed your sexy little minds with pure filth on the regular.... And you female's can just keep being careless with your dairy products. No one at xTDHx is crying over spilt milk ;)

Today I'm giving you 5 fresh tracks to quench your thirst for the DIRT that has been neglecting you for the past week. I'm starting it off with an amazing beat from STAR SLINGER: you will have it stuck on repeat. Next up is a filthy remix of a Neon Hitch song from the producer known as 1984 (probably my favorite of this batch). Following that up is a remix of an ELLIE GOULDING song i posted a couple weeks ago: It's a Dubstep remix of "Wonderman" by BARE NOIZE. You need a pretty filthy track to back that one up so we have the second version of the DADA LIFE remix of "Hello" by Dragonette. And ending it off in my normal/mellow fashion is a OLLIE MACFARLANE bootleg of a track from Jamie XX. This one is for the Ladies. ENJOI.
