I DO BELIEVE THE HYPE....

I'll tell you right now: I believe the HYPE.... and its NOT just because I created it. I truly believe that what we have hand built is a genuinely amazing thing. I have nothing but faith in the fact that this "movement" we have created will continue to capture the attention of people around the world. This list of songs is sure to capture some attention at the very least. 

On this FILTHY FRIDAY I'm hooking you up with some amazing songs to start your weekend with. EVERY SONG IS GREAT. The first track is a NOISIA remix of Katy Perry and Kanye West's new hit "E.T.". TAVIK PRESENTS: THIRSTY THURSDAY #1

We've decided to spice up the week with a new installation on xTDHx. THIRSTY THURSDAY, which is brought to you by TAVIK Clothing, is a weekly/ bi-monthly shred video showcasing all of the best talent from xTHE DIRTY HYPEx. The twist is this: at the beginning of each shred-isode someone "shotguns" a beer.... or something. GET CREEPY!

Some people call it "creepy"... I call it being "proactive". You can't just sit back, put in zero effort, and expect to have an interesting "love life". You have to put forth some initiative if you're going to quench your bodies thirst for affection. When you put forth this effort you will get different reactions to your new outgoing persona: Some will react negatively and some will welcome you with open arms. The rest will simply sit back and hate from a distance, commenting quietly on how "creepy" you are. If you can't beat em' join em'. Embrace your creepiness. Initiate conversation with that model that has your attention. Approach that beautiful girl surrounded by bitchy friends. Be confident. Be bold. Be Creepy. Sure, sometimes it backfires and things get awkward for a minute, but so be it. As Mark Twain once said, "In 20 years you will be more disappointed by what you DIDN'T do than by what you DID." You can't argue with a legend like Mark, so GET CREEPY!

xTDHx REMIXED CLASSICS

The evolution of music has been interesting to say the least. At the end of the day there is NOTHING as good as a CLASSIC HIT FROM THE PAST. Music from the days BEFORE dance music was an epic force sweeping over the globe. Before that, there was this thing that everyone has forgotten about: Rock and Roll. So when I hear these same songs remixed I love it because it brings me RIGHT back to a specific moment in my life that i heard the original. It's a truly unexplainably amazing phenomenon that a song can bring you back to a specific happy instant in your past. Music is amazing like that. It can evoke the happiest of emotions so easily. I hope these REMIXED CLASSICS bring you back to a happy moment when you first heard them.

Starting it out is PRETTY LIGHTS with 2 remixes of 2 true classics. First is a remix of Pink Floyd's- "Time". The second is a remix of The Steve Miller Band's- "Fly Like An Eagle". Ryan Sheckler and Tony Panici: PSYCHO THRILLS

Our very good friends Ryan Sheckler and Tony Panici just ventured overseas to Estonia where they competed in the SIMPLE SESSION 2011. The set up looked straight up frightening... everything was built on a VERY large scale. I definitely WOULD NOT be able to put together a run on that course like that. Yet to NO ONES surprise Tony and Ryan went out there, fearless as usual, and put on a show. I bet you can't get guess who won!?! ALRIGHT, you most definitely CAN guess because it seems like he wins EVERYTHING! Ryan walked away with the victory, capping off his run with a huge BACKFLIP. He never ceases to amaze the world and for that reason we love him. Ryan and Tony have returned home, safe and sound, and we are happy to have them back. As a sign of our gratitude for representing SAN CLEMENTE so well overseas, we are dedicating this post to them. The above video shows what their life is like when they are enjoying the beautiful beach town that they call home. It was filmed at Ryan's Private Warehouse Skatepark and is featured on his website RYANSHECKLER.COM. MELLOW MONDAY #6

I love recognizing the beauty in things that most people don't: that cute girl who dresses different, a dying tree, a wall tagged in graffiti..... the first day of the week. Everyone automatically dislikes things that are COOL to dislike. It's the "american" way. So, for one reason or the other, Monday has caught a bad reputation.... which is completely unfair. Monday is a symbol of a new beginning.... a fresh start. Maybe that's why we dislike it automatically... it forces us to make a change and, we as humans, tend to shy away from change. We settle into boring life routines merely to avoid the stress and effort of making REAL life changing moves. That is extremely disheartening. Embrace this MELLOW MONDAY. Embrace change. WHY ME?????

It sucks, but the truth is: LIFE ISN'T ALWAYS FAIR. Sometimes you get put in some pretty f*cked up situations that are unavoidable and irreversible. These situations always leave you wondering, WHY ME??? The fact is, it's not JUST you. Everyone experiences bullshit all day, everyday.... and most likely there is someone else having a MUCH worse day then YOU are. Take this guy above for instance, he's not going to have the LUXURY of experiencing another shitty day. It's when you take a step back and look at it from that point of view that you realize your day really isn't going THAT badly. Embrace this beautiful day and steer clear of the negativity that life sometimes throws your way. Here's a nice set of songs to accompany your POSITIVE outlook.

I Can't Get That F*cking Song Out Of My Head: DIPLO

I seriously can't get this f*cking song out of my head, and you know why? Because DIPLO produced it. The man is a genius. The quality of production on the songs he's delivering us is as good as it gets and we here at xTDHx love every last second he blesses us with. While I was out in Denver, Colorado at the end of last month I actually had the pleasure of seeing him perform on my BIRTHDAY which was heavenly. When I got home from that trip I stumbled across the new song he produced for DIE ANTWOORD, titled "Evil Boy". It's crazy how much this song grows on you. I LIKED it the first time I heard it..... but now after listening to it 50 times: I LOVE it. If you don't know who Die Antwoord is then you are missing out on the most interesting music in the whole world, so get with it. I'll post a link to a couple YouTube videos below so you can get a visual image of them, since that is COMPLETELY necessary for enjoying them as a whole. As an added bonus I'm gonna give you 4 more AMAZING Dub Step tracks from DIPLO so you can understand how truly wonderful his style is. Enjoi.

xTDHx LOVES THE U.K.

It feels like I need to CONSTANTLY be giving shout outs nowadays because SO many people are showing xTHEDIRTYHYPEx love. The COUNTRY that has been showing us the MOST love, as of late, is THE UNITED KINGDOM. CHLOE MORETZ is KICK-ASS

Let's face it, famous people are just more interesting then "normal" people. If they think something is cool, then it IS. So when we hear that a certain Famous Actress is on TWITTER talking about xTHEDIRTYHYPEx we get pretty excited. We get even more excited when we realize that she's a complete Bad Ass.

Actress Chloe Moretz, star of the movie Kick-Ass, "Tweeted" that xTHEDIRTYHYPEx is "The Best Blog" in the world! She's acted in a movie aside Nicholas Cage, so what SHE says GOES. We admire Chloe, not only for her great taste in websites but also for her ability to beat the shit out of people bigger then her. Very commendable. We just wanted to send some love Chloe's way since she so generously shared our Blog with her 50,000 followers. Keep it Dirty Chloe, we like your style.

In Chloe's name we are putting together a KICK-ASS MIX for you on this fine Wednesday afternoon. Its pretty Kick-Ass that DADA LIFE came out with a new song called "White Noise".... I'm gonna give you that and 2 more DADA LIFE bangers to quench your thirst. Following that up is a PANCE PARTY remix of a Felix Cartal track. New Filth....

We are very happy to say that we reached 2,000 views in one day. This is a HUGE milestone and we are way too excited that all of you around the world are enjoying us THAT much. I just want to keep pumping out filth for all of you to soak up. As a treat for all you loyal fans I'm going to give you some absolutely disgusting tracks. Keep it Dirty.

I'm starting it out with a FAKE BLOOD track.... enough said. Following that up is some Electro filth from a new comer known as FEED ME. Next is another heavy Electro track from COYOTE KISSES. Backing that up is some Electro with a touch of House from MIGHTYFOOLS. And ending it off, in my normal fashion, is a little bit milder Electro remix from OVERWERK.

As a slight bonus I'm also giving you a Dub Step track from DOCTOR P i posted a little while ago. The thing about THIS remix is that it is VOID of the rap verse. It's nice to have options in life. Stay Dirty and Enjoi.
